The Greater Whitsunday METS Sector – A Revenue Diversification Strategy is a key deliverable of the broader Decarbonisation Accelerated Project lead by Greater Whitsunday Alliance (GW3) and the Resources Centre of Excellence (RCoE).

THE RESOURCES Centre of Excellence (RCOE) has announced that their signature event series, LeadIN - Transformation Is Now, will be rescheduled to November this year. The event was previously scheduled to run from September 6 to September 10, 2021. Following close consultation with event stakeholders, the decision was made to reschedule the event as a result of ongoing travel restrictions.

To celebrate the culmination of the Enabling Future Work Skills Development Project, the Resources Centre of Excellence (RCOE) launched a new addition to their Paget facility – the LBF Collaboration Station. This new addition features a new Virtual Reality (VR) system that was specially developed for the RCOE
Last year, we had the privilege of hosting State Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk at the RCOE. The Premier was provided with a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities, including our underground mine simulator.
